Red Bull Speed Record with Lena Erdil

Turkish windsurf athlete Lena Erdil tried to break the World Windsurf Speed Recort at Luderitz Speed Challenge event held on November 2012 at Namibia. Although she missed the world record just by 0.09 kts. She set a new record with a speed of 45.74 kts for Turkey and succeded to break the latest 2005 record in her first attempt to the Speed Record event. This clip of Lena has been produced during her stay in Namibia and shows the story behind the world record attempt.
