After fall finals were over at Oregon State University, Jay Watermeyer (Starboard/Severne) got on the first flight heading down to Mexico, where he spend a month training in Los Barilles and La Ventana. Watermeyer scored epic conditions in La Ventana near the 2nd Arroyo, just in time for 2 days of action from a big El Norte coming in. At the end of his trip, Watermeyer flew back just in time for his friends to pick him up from the airport and drive him straight to Hood River, OR for two 10 hour days of shredding up at Mt Hood.
