Making my Starboard perform even better

Dec 17, 2013

Author: Chris Freeman of Black Project Fins

Finding the perfect set up for your own set of circumstances can be a hard challenge and faced with a huge assortment of options it can be very confusing for riders. Our aim is to help you get the most out of your board(s), extending the range, while increasing performance and ultimately increasing the fun that we all have on the water.

Starboard Kode with a Black Project Fin

Today’s guide features the most popular 2014 Starboard windsurf boards. We have worked closely with a number of team riders and tested with our own Starboards and the rental boards at our dealer and Starboard Pro Center, Kanaha Kai Maui so that you get the best possible advice and maximum performance from your boards. Our guide makes suggestions  on how you can make your new board even better by changing to Black Project Fins. While this guide is specifically designed for the 2014 range there is a large degree of crossover with the previous years and owners of earlier versions will be able to benefit too. Check out all currently available guides HERE and if you want more discussion and information about things to consider when choosing the right size fin check out our guide on Choosing the Right Wave Fin. We are currently in the process of writing guides for a number of board brands and these will be posted when ready but do not hesitate to contact us for personal recommendations.
